Why Better Snax?

We are busy parents just like most of our customers - we are Moms and also sisters and started Better Snax because we wanted to make it easier to purchase snacks our kids would actually eat — without artificial dyes, unnecessary junk, or labels that require a science degree — and we were tired of hunting them down one by one so we set out to create a solution!

Snacking is a big part of most families everyday life whether it's needing a snack at home between meals, on the go around town, in the car, during the school day or in between activities and sports. Finding truly good for you snacks usually means  bouncing between multiple stores, paying membership fees for access, reading tiny ingredient lists, compromising more than you want to, or just grabbing whatever because you’re out of time.  It's exhausting and we felt like there could be an easier solution to sourcing better for you options.

When we started to research and vet snacks, here’s the part that surprised us most:

Even places that market themselves as carrying “better” or “healthy” snacks don’t always live up to the hype. We looked there too. And while some options were fine, many still fell short — loose standards, sneaky ingredients, or products we wouldn’t consistently choose for our own kids.  

We set out to create a marketplace where parents know that any of the snacks they are choosing have passed strict standards.  Better Snax is different because we’re picky on purpose. Every snack we carry is carefully researched and vetted against our Snax Standards — not just “better than average,” but snacks we actually feel good about stocking in our own pantries. If it doesn’t meet the bar, it doesn’t make the cut.  We also wanted to offer our options in quantities that meet the needs of families which means not just one single serve snack per order but bundles of 10-12 snacks that will last a little longer at home or can meet the needs of a classroom snack or a sports team snack duty.  We wanted parents to have the ability to curate their own boxes with the choices their family loves - not variety packs filled with the flavor that no one will eat.

Our mission is to help source snacks so there's less label reading, less running around to find healthy options and more confidence in the snacks you’re feeding your kids.  One of the best parts is every order is delivered right to your door.  We hope to bring Better Snax to more families across the U.S.!
